An off-market purchase was agreed upon following non-performance by another party. The seller was an international data centre operator with this facility mothballed.
The purchase was agreed on a subject-to-planning and ground-investigation basis.
Upon the exchange of contracts, a ground investigation was commissioned in readiness for a planning application submission for comprehensive development. The site was also marketed simultaneously and a credible party was identified and the site was subsequently sold.
